    i everything love you

  2. Intersex is not trans or transgender. Intersex is intersex is intersex. Lili Elbe was intersex. She was not trans or transgender.

  3. Yes, Lili Elbe was transgender. She was born intersex but she could just have chosen to be a man for the rest of her life, which she didn’t, she chose to become a woman, even though it was later in life. If changing your gender is not being transgender, I don’t know what being transgender is.

  4. Sorry Felipe, intersex people who correct their birth assignment simply are not transgender. Transgender is about gender. Intersex is about sex. Besides, the word ‘transgender’ was not even invented in the 1930s. It is a concept that was created by Virginia Charles Prince in the 1960s.

  5. And this story is on PN because…..?

    1. Because of the TI part of LGBTI.

  6. Nicole Kidman is oerfect for this, she kind of looks like a man ;]

  7. would have been better if i spelt “perfect” properly lol

  8. I would like that Naomi Watts was cast for this role because she and Nicole Kidman are already friends, and I think it’s so cute when friends in real life play lovers in fiction, even if they are straight, like Jennifer Beals and Marlee Matlin in “The L Word”. You can actually feel the chemistry !!

Jamie Curtis too would play a good role,

@ Felipe, transgender is an umbrella term to embrace or cover mant labels such as gender queer, androngyny, transvestite, gender neutral, etc etc non of which were in vogue when Lily seeked help from doctors. She was indeed intersex, but i believe this wasn’t fully known until after her death. The intersex community do not like being linked to trans its a completely different issue to transsexuals.
