    I’m speechless.

I hope the charity and agencies involved in this will also follow the ongoing attempt by people from the African continent contacting people blindly saying they are in love with the contact and would love to come over to meet you. Over the past 12 months I must have had nearly 50 of these contacts – catching up with the number of Nigerian Millions scam – they need to be warned and checked on.

  4. Yes, JP, I’m speechless too! I cannot imagine what utterly pathetic men would go into a room where a young African man is being held captive and have sex with him. But we have all sorts of monsters out and about in society so I guess I shouldn’t be that surprised. Every night the news gives details of yet another horror, like that handsome young Asian lad knifed to death in Cardiff the other day in his own home for no apparent reason.

(Re. Cardiff, I thought it was a nice town when I visited it for a day last summer but the report on the Today programme this morning re its drunkeness on Friday and Saturday nights was horrifying. Apparently the city-centre is largely a “no-go” area on Friday and Saturday nights.)

Firstly I would like to comment on the article:

    WHAT A JOKE!

…. No up date to the story

I’m a big fan with regards to BDSM and slavery, I have devoted my live to the needs of a Master and done so willingly.

This “African” was not brought to Scotland in chains or by whip, he obviously agreed to come in some extend. How ever what he received was probably not what he expected and fled. This is the problem, people taking advantage of others who are disadvantaged in stead of an mutual agreement. (making empty promises)

I myself live in South Africa and have seen some of the fellow neighbouring countries come here and work for next to nothing, doing everything and ANYTHING to support the family back home.

1 pound = a lot of rands and a lot of rands = a lot of some other currency.

I’m a bit hesitant to just believe this story and believe that there probably is a valid explanation, if the UK journalist just did his job, with following up.

Journalist job nowadays seems is just to shock communities in stead of telling a well written story.

Slave_jed, “slavery” in BDSM terms, really should be written in inverted commas. It’s a completely different thing to real slavery. Drawing an equivalence between torture, false imprisonment, and rape on the one hand and a sexual kink on the other is highly insulting.

    TRiG.
