  1. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm…. Ricky!!

  2. ¡Bienvenido al sol, Ricky! Aquí fuera es mucho más agradable. ¡Y me alegro de saber que otra celebridad masculina tan guapa sea de nosotros!
Welcome to the sunshine, Ricky! Much nicer out here. And so nice to know that another cute male celebrity is one of us!
PS – PN, please make the post-on codes more readable. Have pity on middle-aged eyes!

  3. “Fortunate” and “proud”? Then why the wall of silence about his sexuality and marketing himself as a latino ladykiller. Shame that being proud only materialised once he’d established himself. How are the record sales these days anyway? Flagging at best.

  4. ahhh. i love it when a sexy pop star comes out of the closet. good on him. and so what if its taken him eons to do so. who will be next – eminem? 50 cent?

  5. like we are meant to be surprised

Congratulations Ricky Martin. You’ve had quite a journey so far, and I’m betting you will be an asset to the international LGBT community.

    Wonderful news.

  7. Have you noticed how LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG his fingers are, guys? MMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Lovely!

  8. Keith Bradley-Wilson 30 Mar 2010, 2:31pm

OMG Didn’t see THAT one coming! They’ll be telling us Rock Hudson and Liberace are our sisters next!!!

  9. In scientific news: the earth is round.

  10. The C(o)unt of Monte Crisco 30 Mar 2010, 2:58pm

Woah! His fingers ARE freakishly long!

  11. guys can’t be sisters Keith

  12. Guys can certainly be ‘sisters’ Chester

  13. Michael, Liverpool 30 Mar 2010, 4:03pm

jay, that poor tormented soul we call Pope Benny Ratzi the Nazi will be next! Muhahahaha

  14. Apparently this news was issued because a small group of nomadic Laplanders hadn’t already guessed this about ten years ago along with everyone else on the planet.

  15. We ALWAYS know what we like best…it’s just so self-evident and nothing else feels quite as comfortable. Ricky, in spite of the turmoil, you now own your “comfort zone” as never before. HANG ON TO IT!!!

  16. Kudos for Ricky. Damn shame how the Puerto Ricans (my race) are putting him down. Especially an evil homophobic show in Puerto Rico who are burning and lynching him for coming out of the closet. The hispanics are putting him down – so sad that the hispanic population have a very condemned, disgraceful, closed minded, wicked way of thinking for gays. Again bravo for Ricky. It was about time…

  17. Barbara Walters must be pissed off!

  18. He Bangs He Bangs! Glad I got that in first. Good luck to him in all seriousness. Hope he can now be fully happy. PS apparently Christopher Biggins is gay to who would’ve thought!

  19. So wonderful that he chose to come out just before his autobiography gets published.

Absolutely no opportunism at there at all!!

Nah. I’m joking. Good for Ricky Martin.

As the world thinks “Didn’t he come out years ago? Oh well at least John Travolta is still straight … oh wait!”

  20. In other news, Terry Wogan reveals he’s Irish.

  21. Martin became a father in 2008 to twin boys born to a surrogate mother.

He said that his sons convinced him he had to be open.

Kids are so damn precocious these days!! lol

  22. As a gay dad, it is good to see another out gay dad in the public eye.

  23. If his kids got him to see the light, great. Living life openly and honestly is a great lesson for kids. Too many live life in the dark, harming themselves and sometimes other.

Welcome to the family, Ricky! All the best to you.

I can’t help comparing your comment to the others…. are you well? or have you always been a backbiter?

  26. So much time has been lost in his denial. but then a vast majority of gay men are in the same boat. Take too long in coming out. Men seem that they cannot be true to themselves. Always trying to be someone or something that they are not.

  27. Jean-Paul Bentham 31 Mar 2010, 8:32am

oh yes, the Vast Majority indeed, and then some. Sad, ain’t it. M-m-m.

  28. this is old news as I thought it was a very open secret

  29. does it make a difference to his music NO—– His Career I HOPE NOT but with so many racists, homophobic idiots and fools out there WHO KNOWS — What I do know is that he’s a great star who deserves as does everyone to be happy in their own skin, with their life…. and all I can wish him is a happy life with this partner and family…… All the best Ricky (fancy going out one night)

  31. Oh come on guys/gals…He did it!! Congratulations Ricky!!! It cant change my mind about his music, but it’s a nice thing. Be glad, gays.
