To think, not one British gay couple can get married in the UK! I had to leave my own country with my partner for Canada to do just that knowing that upon return, our marriage would not be recognised as such. It should be one of our priorites. Why aren’t we forming a marriage equality movement just as our brothers and sisters are doing in Ireland and Scotland? Why?
