David Skinner is a bully, as he’s amply demonstrated here. He can’t bear us to be normal – and I use that word to encompass a wide variety of things. We have to be bad/evil/nasty/diseased etc to reinforce his warped view of gay people. His vendetta is a very personal one, and it’s sad that he can’t let go of something form his past and move on.

Look at all the time he spent here goading and sneering. Apart from the fact that most people would have better things to do with their retirement, it really smacks of mental issues that need sorting out. He probably thinks I’m having a dig at him every time I say that – because he transfers his own feelings onto others – but, David, I’m not. You need to speak to someone and let them give you an objective view of your issues, then let them help you move on. Whether you move on to devoting yourself to God, helping others, starting a new hobby, is up to you, but I can’t believe that burning in the acid of your own hate is a very pleasant way to live.

Given his mood swings, paranoia, delusional statements, and “end of world” belief structure, its a fair assumption.

I’ve been following this thread with interest. (You’ve all been doing a marvellous job dealing with this individual, by the way.) I find it gobsmackingly extraordinary that all of a sudden Skinner should flick his wrist and condescendingly say that you can now all have a rest, that he’s had enough, “Basta! Basta!”

How arrogant can a person be? To have said the hateful hurtful spiteful things that he has been saying and then to think that he can end it just like that, as if he was talking to friends, well it only goes to show he has no idea of his actions.

I think David Skinner could suffer from some kind of autism or insensitivity to others.

And yet John tells us he’s apparently spent his life as an art teacher, someone who is supposed to see the beautiful in life, relish the beauty in all things, as have so many great homosexual and heterosexual artists over the centuries.

But you have SOME years left. Why not fill them with love and self-acceptance. Give in to your inner self, to the same-sex attraction that you have identified deep within you. It doesn’t mean that you can’t also enjoy attraction to the opposite sex also. Because you love ONE thing, it doesn’t follow that the other thing has to be viewed as repugnant. You can embrace the diversity within yourself.
