  1. Congratulations to James Parkes and his new civil partner.

I hope they are very happy.

Gordon Brown currently claims that gay people will never walk alone on the road to equality. Does this mean that the Labour Party now supports the right of James Parkes to get married.

Well Brownie – what are you doing about it?

it’s nice to have a happy ending story, if one avoids the political opportunism of GB.

I’m so glad he’s better, and happier that he’s tied the knot. I hope he, like all our kids his age, have a happy, safe future

Congratulations are due to James & his husband (civil partner is such a patronising term) & I hope this is a message to sick homophobic bigots that nothing will stop us now! Such a happy ending, I may need a Man-sized Kleenex box! :)

I’m so pleased for James and Tom. May they have much happiness in their marriage. A happy ending after a terrible ordeal.I hope James rises through the ranks and becomes a great police chief. I hope the homophobic bigots who tried to kill James spend many years locked up and are not let off lightly.
