Don’t get too excited, both Iowa and New Hampshire have elections in November and the Republicans are very hopeful that they will capture the state goverments in both of these state. If they do then expect them to have a go at this.

  3. Keep pushing. We are human, and should expect the same rights as everyone else!

Just because Republicans are gnashing their teeth for the right to turn the Gay Marriage laws around, I wouldn’t be too alarmed. It would take quite a long time to replace those who are pro-gay rights to be replaced, and by that time, they may just be replaced with other pro-gay legislators. As time moves on, more and more rabid anti-gay people will die off and gay marriage will be accepted nation-wide. This, in essence, is what the anti-gay crowd REALLY fear. They know… their time is limited, and may already be at that point.
    Pray for them.

  5. This is very good news, because New Hampshire has a long history of producing politicians that go on to make big waves in Washington.

Glad to see this happening. I hope more repeal referendums are shot down as well. No voting on people’s civil rights!

  8. I would encourage all educated gay, lesbian and transgendered people to study Spanish. If America rejects you, then reject America. I would be buying apartments in Uruguay and preparing for other South American countries to embrace same-sex marriage. Dont be surprised if some Asian nations liberate themselves. There are billions of dollars to be made for countires that embrace same-sex people. I am not joking at all. I have come to the decision that nationality means nothing if one cannot be free and equal.

  9. The bill’s main sponsor Al Baldasaro argued .. “Homosexuals can change their sexual preference at any time”

    Presumably he’s speaking from experience – ?

Note the comments on natural order and natural law.

It seems that for some churches and their followers, the natural thing to do is hate and denigrate minorities. In the name of God no less.

Wonder how God will Judge them. My guess is for those that do this in HIS NAME, he will make the taliban look like pikers.
