I am not sure the arrest is entirely necessary in this case. I would of thought Ray could of been invited into the police station for questioning and allowed to go home and return today.
Ray’s admission is not enough evidence to charge him with murder alone. I would of thought Nottinghamshire police would of investigated the claims not put a elderly gentleman under great stress with no hard evidence any crime has been committed.
