Isn’t it about time someone did? I’m sure it wouldn’t take more than a slight nudge, a few gay celebs, and someone of the likes of Ivan Massow to get the ball rolling, and Mr Summerskill can go get his P45.

Stonewall has positioned itself as THE voice of the LGBT population. They are nothing of the sort.

They have 30,000 active supporters (out of an electorate of 1,500,000 LGBT people). They enjoy the support of about 1% of the LGBT population.

The reality is that a group like Outrage probably has a similar level of support to Stonewall.

But because Stonewall will NEVER oppose the government, they are the ‘go-to’ LGBT groups. Stonewall is seen by the government as a means of rubberstamping whatever legislation or policies they are pushing.

The fact that Stonewall is opposed to legal equality for LGBT relationships says it all about them.

As an organisation they are not fit for purpose when it comes to representing the LGBT population. But they don’t care. They have the ear of the government at the moment. Too bad for them that they are now so seriously out of tune with the population they pretend to represent (the LGBT population) that they are destined for the scrapheap. Too many people are dissatisfied with them.

Seriously though, have you ever heard of anything so laughable – an LGBT advocacy group which is OPPOSED to LGBT equality.

Then maybe we will get what the majority of LGBT people want, and act they can act as the official voice of all of us, instead of this bunch of sycophants, or alternatively, Tatchell and his bunch of leftie activists waving placards at every event in the country, and embarrassing the rest of us.

My only proviso is that it should be politically inert and show no leaning (or disapproval) towards any political standpoint or party.

If Stonewall were to remember that their function is to represent the LGBT populatio; and not to simply nod their unquestioning approval to whatever scraps the government of the day throws them, then they may actually get the support of the LGBT population.

That fact that Stonewall is opposed to legal equality for gay relationships makes them utterly contemptible.

If I would be an antigay person and also the state official, I would allow the guy to have his license plate “IM GAY”, because eventually his car would be bruned or he will be killed by “concerned citizens” of “wonderful christian” state of Oklahoma or any other state of “christian” America. Let the idiot to have what he deserved. He would never listen any advice even from most sincere friend to abandon his idiotic pursuit in the most homophobic state of Anerica, anyway. Has to be said though, he’s the right man for the job, considering Stonewall are the most useless, ineffective, attention-seeking bunch of completely incompetent bloody poofs I ever had the misfortune of dealing with.

Still no statement from Stonewall and Ben Summerskill on how the equality bill now stands thanks to Harriet Harmon and the house of Lords. But then again Sonewall’s only aim now seems to be to facilitate Ben Summerskill’s wish for a peerage by being any governments LGB uncle tom.

I understand Ben Summerskill has booked the surgery to have his tongue removed from Harriet Harmon’s backside and reattached to the new minister.

Why should Stonewall waste their time on trivialities like legal equality for LGBT people when there are numberplates to be sorted out?
