  1. Here we go again with the “Protect the family” canard. Protect the family from what exactly? Armies of gay hypnotists luring their menfolk against their will into gay saunas and having their wicked way with them?
There’s only one gay hypnotist I know of and that’s Derren Brown. And he’s already spoken for.
If your husband or wife is that suggestable that just being in the same room as a gay or lesbian person or witnessing a gay marriage is liable to turn them gay or lesbian, they most likely weren’t that straight in the first place. And in case The Mexican Attorney General hasn’t noticed, most gay people come from families anyhow. We’re not anti-family, just anti hysterical dumbass.

  2. NOTHING is “immoral” and “reprehensible” as dogma.

Let’s take away peoples “right” to believe in what ever they want (I myself believe in Superman. If they can not play nice then they should not be allowed to play at all.

This is not an issue for all and sundry to comment on.

If gay people do NOT have equal rights why the f***ing hell should we have to pay the same amount of tax??

I agree with the previous two comments.. I am fed up with being treated as second-class. and what the hell has it got to do with an attorney generals prosecution office anyway? Let them concentrate on their own bloody job of prosecuting criminals and leave the laws of the land to the government?

….and don´t get me started on the bloody catholic church!

  4. Hmmm… I thought me (male), my partner (male) and our adopted son – and dog were a family!

  5. I knew this thing would happen, expect a total ban of gay marriage in mexico after the gay marriage law in Mexico City is overturned….Mexican society is still in the XIX century in all these matters, and the ruling party (the PAN) is more concerned about family “values” than the fact that Mexico is in a deep hole and the violence stats are higher than every country in Latin America.

Sadly I figured that something like this would happen. The homohaters simply will not let us alone! No matter if marriage equality is voted in, legislated, or is the result of a court ruling, these people will find a way to overturn it. It has NOTHING to do with the definition of marriage–these people do not want us having ANY rights at all. I hope it doesn’t happen, but given what has happened in the US I am not optomistic.
