Why not campaign to stop funding for the Christian, Muslim ect Police Associations they have far more members and draw far more state funding that’s paid out by the taxpayers whom they are part of.
Its about time the TaxPayer’s Alliance show us their funding (Conservative central office and Tory supporters)
Matthew has a good point. Unfortunately the UK demonstrates far more biased against Trans people than Christians and Muslims. The religious institution has over the years secured unchallengeable bigotry with power(try the House of Lords and the media). This funding is an example of positive leadership by The Home Office to at last assist the situation for Trans colleagues joining the police service. Like gay officers and staff, they will struggle otherwise to find support from all colleagues! When eventually ACPO, local Police Federations and police mentality develops, separate Diversity Staff Association shouldn’t be needed. Until then – well done the Home Office. A great pity ACPO cant be a bit more positive! Vic Codling ~ Gay Police Association
I agree that in a perfect world such an association would not be needed. But right now it is, so well done.
To be fair to the Taxpayers Alliance, they HAVE spoken out in the past against public funding for all the other various associations inside the Police. And their statement in this instance was not bigoted.
Mind you, such associatons are not uncommon in large companies either, so it seems perhpas unfair that those in public service should be denied similar ones….
How can it be, that a “national body” claims to represent “trans and intersex police officers”, but only the former are mentioned in its official name, i.e. “National Trans Police Association (NTPA)”?
This seems to be just another case of the intersexed being “included” (a.k.a. co-opted) merely as a token to receive more funding for other groups. Worse, afterwards everybody can say, hey, something’s being done for the intesexed, we even spend tax payers’ money on it–while their actual problems and the grave human rights violations committed against them are allowed to continue all the same. How conveniently for everybody else …
This is why I’m wary of groups like the Taxpayer’s Alliance. Straight, white, male, Middle-Englanders looking out for straight, white, male, Middle-Englanders. Oh, the thought of someone looking out for us helpless taxpayers sounds grand, until you realise that it’s mostly just an exercise in the majority wanting to keep tabs on us minorities who apparently cost them cash.
Matthew Elliott, of campaign group the TaxPayers’ Alliance, told the Daily Express last night: …
I’ll bet he didn’t. He was tucked up in bed with his teddy bear, bless him. That quote and most of the Express article was regurgitated from a piece they did back in August.
Taxpayer’s Alliance? They are no such thing. They are a tax avoiders army of kids with degrees.
Trans is an inclusive term that includes everyone on the transgender spectrum, from Transsexual at one end and Cross dressing at the other and includes intersex and andogyne, genderqueer or third gender. We believe in rights for everyone at the NTPA that consider themselves as Trans and identify with one of the definitions above.

Intersex appropriation sucks.

indeed intersex appropriation does ‘suck’ – witness the Trannies who try to claim they’re Intersex because it gives them ‘an excuse.’

Tory MP Philip Davies is such a disgrace, who has aligned himself the equally disgracefull tax payers divisive alliance
