No exaggeration: these are some of the most evil people in the world. Real-life modern Nazis. I hope they all drop dead of some horrible illness before they’re able to inflict terrible suffering on hundreds of thousands of innocent people.

  3. Showing them gay porn? LOL, what a way to fail.

  4. Stuart Neyton 25 Jan 2010, 9:48pm

He really isn’t fit to be a parent if he’s showing his young kids them graphic porn. Were it a gay couple showing their kids such things he’d be the first to seriously question the parenting skills or LGBT people. He’s the lowest of the low. x

  5. And gay porn is more debasing or vile than straight porn?
It’s actually a minority market in the adult entertainment industry.
Wherever there is a demand, someone, somewhere will supply. Just because there is mountains of sexual media out there does not mean everyone is a sex maniac.

Oh, and please, will everyone stop reducing every argument down to Nazis? It just so lowers the standard of the comments, and by Godwin’s Law, you have already lost the argument.

  6. Hmmm Sorry, I’m missing the bit where a compassion to the Nazi regime is different to what’s going on here? They seem quite similar to me.

  7. The earthquake in Haiti happend to the WRONG people, well thats god for ya allways makeing good people suffer while favoring evil corrupted cu*ts like the roman cu*tolic and the pedovangelist or the terrorlamics.

Also what they are doing is is no diffrent than what the nazzis did so i will compair them to Hitlers actions as it is a fair comparassion.

Looks like they have fallen to the devils disguise

  8. This headline makes no sense. It looks like you’ve missed out some words.

  9. ‘He had recruited two Ugandans, a man and a woman, to say they had once been gay but had been successfully rehabilitated.’

Something along the line of “I’m not gay please don’t kill me”

Actually, I was going to append a little note to my comment reading:

“PS: It doesn’t count as invoking Godwin’s Law if targets are actually literally acting like Nazis.”

But then I thought I might as well wait and see if anyone does bring it up.

I was not being hyperbolic. I do literally mean that they are acting like the Nazis did. This isn’t one of those ridiculously far-fetched “hate crimes lead to thought crimes” or “my boss is a Nazi because he expects everyone to be punctual” leaps of (il)logic. These people actually wanted to bring about mass extermination of a particular demographic, and are still pushing for mass incarceration.

In most cases, calling someone a Nazi works against you. In unfortunate cases like these, it serves to underline the chilling depths of their vicious inhumanity and hatred.

  11. Some rather extreme comments from some above. In what way does that show you to be any better, and no worse, than those you hate so much?

A little clarification is required for my reply to RobN, I think.

I realise that there are actually a couple of other countries around the world where homosexuality is punishable by death. These laws tend to be historical and traditional ones, though. The situation in Uganda is one of upstart fundamentalist bigots trying to re-shape their country and cleanse it of disagreeables via brutal persecution.

That’s what made me compare them to the Nazis. I wasn’t making the comparison simply because they’re evil, but because they’re a particular and familiar brand of evil.

If you were referring to f-Uganda and esk, one can only hope that their anger got the better of their words and that they just wanted to hurt these aggressors, without thinking of the consequences it would have on the innocents who would also suffer. Just careless, angry words, that’s all. At least, I hope so.

If you were referring to anyone else, you’ll have to clarify what you’re talking about.

Really? He actually showed some gay porn? Well, it probably wasn’t harmful, as it was pastorised.

  14. I bet it took him just ages selecting it from his extensive but private library.

  15. This is the same fanatical pastor that allegedly was involved in trying to “smear” the brother of the archbishop of York, who is a megachurch pastor in Uganda, as being gay. Apparently this is a tactic between rival pastors over there, according to the blogger GayUganda. The stakes will be much higher with the new Anti-Homoxexuality Act.

  16. You know, I’m sure it’d take me a maximum time of 2 minutes for me to find straight porn that could make someone vote for heterosexual intercourse to become illegal.

  17. Pumpkin Pie: Could you please tell me at what point a massive Ugandan army marched across Africa and into Europe whilst slaughtering six million of it’s inhabitants on an industrial basis?

Get some f_cking perspective. Just because people are right wing does not make them like Nazis, and most of them are not remotely facist in political leanings. (Even Hitler wasn’t a facist.)

  18. RobN, as usual, you really do talk some utter piffle, masquerading as being gay. Jeez, according to you even Hitler wasn’t a fascist!!

Next you’ll tell us all that a tory government would be good for gays. Perverse to say the least.

Strikes me, you are just too clever clever for your own good.

These people in Uganda ARE behaving just like Nazis, and they are in point of fact fascists.

Imagine a so called ‘pastor’ showing his kids porn – he should be jailed for child abuse.

  19. There’s an article by a US evangelist explaining how in his view Ugandan Christians/gov. are indeed acting just like Nazis, here:

    RobN:
This isn’t about right wing versus left wing or some tosh like that, it’s about a bunch of fundamentalist upstarts using populism to attempt to bring about social cleansing. The only reason the Ugandan government isn’t going ahead with a march across Africa is because they can’t. Their ideas for their homeland remain similar, however.

  21. He showed them in that church scat fetishism porn (people eating each others excrements) and told 65% of “sodomites” do that! :-/

  22. J Mathews: I raised the point about facist expecting some ignoramous like you to take the bait. People bandy the word facist around when they have absolutle no idea what it means. I suggest you do a bit of research. Facism is almost identical to communism/Marxism, and as many will no doubt know, politics is in fact circular. The Nazis were an extreme national socialist organisation.

Pumpkin: This term “ethnic / social cleansing” has risen up in the last 20 years or so, but the principle of it has been going on for centuries, long before Adolf was even born. I hate the expression, it sounds like a f_cking black van driver that delivers the hand towels. The word is “Genocide” and Hitler and co. were only one of many socio-political uprisings that have used it to suppress their masses.

I wonder if he ejaculated during the presentation, or only became erect.
