  1. An interesting article here comparing the current anti-gay marriage fight to miscegenation laws in the US:

    The reasons given against interracial marriage sound scarily familiar – particularlt the use of the word “unnatural”.

    Why do some people feel the need to discriminate against others?

    It NEVER stops with these people. It is a form of hypocrisy. What they want for themselves, they wish to deny to others. I keep hoping that in ONE state, when marriage equality is enacted, the bigots are told, “No, you MAY NOT vote on the civil rights of others.”

    These people lie when they say they will accept marriatge equality if a legislature enacts it. They want us back in the closet…even if people vote it into law, they will find a way to overturn it. This pandering to bigots has got to stop!

    somethings else the republicans can add to the ballot:
    prayer in school
    creationism teaching
    pi= 3
    outlawing divorce
    outlawing mixed race marriage
    outlawing usury

    All but one of these are in the wholly babble, with the other implicit (according to reading)

    They can also ban women working, birth control – hell why not just roll all the laws back to the 16C?

    If I lived in that State I would be starting a movement to get these put onto any proposition
