Manchester police are seeking a man who befriends people in gay bars in order to steal from their homes.

Lee James Eves, 25, failed to answer bail on November 18th after he was arrested in connection with a burglary in Salford in May.

Police confirmed he was known to befriend people in gay bars before obtaining their house keys in order to steal from them.

He has connections in Manchester’s gay village.

Eves is described as white, about 5ft 10in tall with green eyes, short or shaved brown hair with a small scar under his chin and a scar from a dog bite on his left arm.

He has a number of alias including Liam Miller, Dean James and Lee Jones.

Police constable Jon Shaw, of Swinton’s burglary unit, said: “We need to hear from anyone with information on Eves.”

Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts should call the police on 0161 856 5250 or call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
