The partner of the late Freddie Mercury passed away last week.

Jim Hutton had lived with Mercury for six years prior to the singer’s death from an AIDS-related illness in 1991.

Hutton died at his home on New Year’s Day from cancer. He was 60.

He worked as Mercury’s hairdresser and was left £500,000 and a plot of land by the singer.

He also tested positive for HIV in 1990 but did not tell Mercury until a year later.

Hutton was buried on Sunday in Bennekerry, Ireland.
