  1. Well, good for you, Max Lincoln, for taking the decision to no longer produce bareback porn! Well done.

Let’s hope other producers of porn will follow suit.

Yes, you’re right, Mr. Lincoln, to say that punters who want bareback porn will hunt it out. However, most punters take from what is easily available, from what they find on the shelves of sex shops, or what they find on the pages of internet sites. If they don’t become accustomed to bareback porn they won’t seek it out.

A person has a brain and he or she should DECIDE carefully what to fill it with. Unfortunately a lot of people don’t decide what to fill their heads with: instead they simply fill their heads with whatever is to hand, with whatever is advertised.

It’s a pity that porn is so “on hand” at the moment. So many people are thus filling their heads with it. They could put their brains to such better and more rewarding use.

  2. I see they’re doing a good thing here but i’ll miss bareback porn, not that i really watch it much anyway

  3. This shouldn’t be a matter of the “actors” – (I use that term about as loosely as their arses) – but simply the fact these films set a precedent that it is acceptable to have unprotected sex.

Americans long stopped doing it when their ‘talent’ started dropping like flies. Maybe it needs the same here.

  4. I have conflicting thoughts on this…here’s a run down.

    1) PCR HIV DNA testing is what is used in the straight porn industry in LA through Adult Industry Medical (AIM). This test looks for the virus itself and only has a 5 day window period.

    2) Within bareback porn, there is a continuum. From, no condoms with no cum shot on or in the anus…to full on hardcore fetishized anal cum shots.

    3) Gay porn with condoms has also evolved concurrently with the rise in bareback porn. Maybe in order to compete, the facial cumshot or cum in the mouth shot is more and more common. Even in Mr. Lincoln’s productions.

  5. I find Mr. Lincoln’s comments quite cynical. He has been producing bareback films since 2002 and stopped last year. The medical evidence present now, is the same as in 2002.

It must be easy for him to take a moral position now, when he has made considerable profit from his films. Why not when he started his company?

  6. The medical risks of bareback sex are certainly not a new phenomenon, in which case these producers should never have began producing bareback porn in the first place, if they truly had one ounce of concern for their acting staff.

I had never heard of Eurocreme. I did have a look; attractive young men. No offense, but I actually prefer more mature, ordinary men.

Also, there are lots of gay porn sites available; why not take the time to breathe calmly and to find one that promotes the use of condoms?

For one thing, promoting the use of condoms illustrates that a condom can be prepared in advance, when a condom can be introduced and how easil,y quickly and casually it can rolled on even in the heat of the moment. Hey, there’s no big rush anyway, innit.

Bottom line: the consumer decides; what else is new? A law would simply create a black market.

  8. I agree that its a good thing too but I enjoy a good thriller, horror film, doesn’t mean I’m gonna go out murdering people. There is a culture of blame where instead of people taking responsibility for there own actions and choice they blame everything else but themselves.

  9. Can they bring back moustaches and big hair? I miss it.

  10. Nothing but disingenuous BS from the man using the ‘Max Lincoln’ pseudonym. Eurocreme is one small operational unit of a much larger porn empire which both produces and markets copious amounts of bareback porn and has little or no regard for the well-being of the poor sods they exploit. This is nothing more than vacuous marketing spiel and shame in PinkNews for even publishing it without making even a token attempt at questioning the content.

  11. I am surprised that labels like Eurocreme have not been sued under the relatively new offence of wilfull or reckless HIV transmission that has resulted in the successful prosecutions and incarceration of several individuals.

“In the absence of any legislation governing porn production in the UK, this moral stance places us at a serious disadvantage in the marketplace.”

No, it is not a moral stance, Mr. Lincoln. It is common sense. HIV is still a terminal disease that wreaks havoc with your health and shortens your life expectancy by many years. And there is a clear link between visual entertainment provoking copycat acts in real life, as witnessed by several high profile cases of murders linked to certain video games. Likewise, there is no doubt that bareback porn glamorizes and legitimizes unsafe sex and incentivizes a proportion of men who watch it into ditching condoms.

The last time I was shagged by a one night stand (before I settled down) he used a condom and I thought Mmmm, it’s like washing my hands with gloves on!

  13. Jean-Paul Bentham 22 Dec 2009, 10:56pm

The quality of condoms have come a long way since the 20’s, Brian!!

  14. Graeme Robertson 23 Dec 2009, 6:55am

I too am a little cynical at this stance – I much more respect studios like Men At Play who have NEVER indulged in BB porn and are strenuously upfront about it. It’s also not the UK or US we have to worry about – it’s exploited Eastern Europe and further afield – Bel Ami just did a hugely publicised duo between two twin brothers, which should have been sensational enough in every sense, but they had to make them bareback. It’s very sad.

  15. Are these kinda movies not tantamount to snuff movies, albeit death occurring at a later date? That we should even be having this discussion is truly shocking. The willful procurement and enticement of young men into behaviours that can lead to their eventual deaths is tantamount to manslaughter and should be crimilinalized. Hopefully this will be on the agenda of the next Conservative government.

  16. Jean-Paul Bentham: “The quality of condoms have come a long way since the 20’s, Brian!!”

Sorry, but that was REALLY funny!
Actually, I seem to remember Brian still used a sheep’s bladder.
    ;)

  17. Gay Activist Paul Mitchell 16 Jan 2011, 3:44pm

    I love bare-backing!!!

  18. One year and some months later and Mr Tosh (or Lincoln as he calls himself) is back into bareback production. Please see the eurocreme store website for proof (Raw Boys studio). Hypocrite to the Max!

  19. Bareback sex is fine so long as it is two healthy people doing it. Men often have bareback sex with women and neither of them become infected with HIV. It’s no different if it’s two men.

The problem is when one or both partners has a promiscuous sexual history. If you’re carrying a long history with you, it increases the chances of you passing something on to another person. It’s the promiscuity, not the anal sex, that is to blame.

As for porn, only losers and tossers watch porn.
