I don’t know if there are any definite stats, but just about everyone I know in Wales is gay. But then again, is there a gay person who hasn’t had some crap from somebody about it? He might well have received some hate mail as a well known personality – well known if you listen to local radio, anyway – but most of it could be dismissed as sound and fury – signifying nothing. Brian might be right about him just wanting to promote a book.
I think Brian is probably right-He had a book out at Christmas a couple of years ago-and he`s about due to bring out the sequel!!
It could be some of the threats are not particularly because he`s ga-but because he`s so bitchy about other people-including members of his own family! I had the first book given me as a present-and I must see it was very personal and vitriolic about certain individuals! Personally-I think he is totally false.

and if that’s true, then he is scummy when you consider people who HAVE been physically hurt by homophobic attacks.

Threats of violence should be reported to the police (or LGBT reporting centre/org) not used to promote books.
