Incipid, poisonous little low-lifes – blackmail is a vile crime involving the ongoing calculated torture of another individual. I hope they get what’s coming to them when they’re in prison.
In what century are we living in, when a man accepts the blackmailing of a couple of thugs, over him being gay? This is 2009, not 1958. I would have called the police, the minute these two tried something on me.
Hello? We have gay civil servants and gay politicians as the norm these days. ( unfortunately not always our best representatives in some cases )This is 2009 not 1959. There shouldn’t be a motive for blackmail. In the Uk there is not a reason for anyone to be living in the closet anymore. If they are .. it’s their own feelings that’s keeping them there.

When we get true equality, we can no more be blackmailed for being gay than we can for being straight.

Polly is right – the stigma and prejudice which still attaches to being gay is what made him cave in to this blackmail.

Either there’s more to this story than meets the eye, or I’m caught in a time warp.
