“He scored a number one with Wham! back in 1984 with Last Christmas.”

No he didn’t. It was Wham’s biggest selling single ever but it only reached number 2. It was held off the top spot by Band Aid’s ‘Do they know it’s Christmas’ (although George Michael was also featured on that track)

And regardless of how good this new song is I think it is virtually impossible for any song to beat the X-Factor juggernaut to become Christmas number 1.

  3. I think G. Michael is best when he is happy; maybe in a relationship. I say good luck and best wishes George.
    Fan Pam.
