Imagine hundreds of thousands of us doing that. It would make a strong argument to allow us marriage, if we so choose. Now if every gay couple in the UK from now on would forego civil partnerships, get married in a country that allows us to marry such as Holland, Spain, Belgium, Norway or Sweden, then return to the UK, we could start a powerful movement for full marriage equality. There's such a long way to go for LGBT equality in Russia - I'd not walk openly holding the hand of my girlfriend in Moscow as it is now!
