Elton John cancelled his gig on FridayElton John was forced to cancel a sell-out gig in Sheffield after coming down with flu.
He was due to play before 13,000 fans at Sheffield Arena on Friday night as part of his Red Piano show.
His spokesman said: “Elton is terribly disappointed that he is unable to perform tonight’s Red Piano show for the people of Sheffield. He has always enjoyed a tremendous reaction from the audiences every time he has performed at the arena.”
The star has several more concerts scheduled for this week but all will go ahead, the representative said.
