Whilst its dispicable what happened to this woman it is right that the payout is not over and above the payouts for women and men who have their lives shattered by bombs and mortars and are left disabled for life because this is counter-productive when it comes to promoting equality for LGBT people if they are perceived to be getting more than other people in compensation claims – this sort of thing leads to disharmony. However, in an ideal world her money should remain the same and those injured should be getting a lot more than they are at present!
