I’m sorry, but once again the Pink Paper is being slightly misleading and inflammatory. There’s no sign that – this time around- Schwarzenegger’s any more opposed to the Harvey Milk bill than he is to the other 699 bills that he’s also threatening not to sign. Gay Californians need water too, so forcing an agreement on the water supply may be entirely sensible.

(And, yes, of course it’s bizarre that they hired their governor cos he’s a film actor.)

The trouble with Schwarzenegger (a bigoted Republican) is that he is not man enough or has any guts to sign LGBT-friendly bills into law!!!!! He is the one who is a little girl at not dealing with the issues!!!!

Also what about the pre-Prop 8 marriage recognition bill as well (I bet he will veto that as well).

He is a man who just vetoes everything (typical Republican). If I was Govonor the only thing I will veto in my whole political life will be more taxes – that it it!!!!!!

“According to the San Fransisco Chronicle, the governor has around 700 bills on his desk that must be signed or vetoed by Sunday at midnight. They include measures on education, ammunition and insurance.

However, he has issued a veiled threat to veto all unless lawmakers reach an agreement by the weekend on the state’s water system.”

Doesn’t sound like homophobia. Rather, he’s saying he’ll veto the lot if he doesn’t get some joy on one particular issue.
