  1. Maybe Frederic Mitterrand, culture minister should learn how young boys and girls are sold by parents into sexual slavery in Thailand.

He should resign from public life for his actions in supporting this illegal industry.

International Labour Organisation (ILO) found that between 200-300,000 children were trafficked for sex into Thailand in 2003.

I guess the French culture minister supports this trade.

Mitterrand had said: “I strongly regret that a new ordeal is being inflicted on someone who has already experienced so many of them.”

Sacré bleu! This man has been eating the wrong kind of mushrooms, si.

Sad when Alzheimer’s strikes public politicos – first, Ronald Reagan; now, Mitterrand.

At his age, the word “boys” came out from his mouth refer to some one who is same age with his son, it not mean under age of consent. He did not violate the international law and Thailand’s law. What will people base on to jusdge him ? Morality ? Recently, a lot of politicians do the same, but “not same sex” and they “hide it all”, not have a tiny courage speaking out. That are 2 things people need to think about themselve before judging others.
Look at the case of former US President Bill Clinton and please open mind.

  5. Any kind of support for prostitution is disgusting and paying for sex with men or boys is as disgusting as paying women or girls for sex. Just a thought….if it wasn’t to have sex with young boys, why would he have needed to go to Asia to have sex. It doesn’t add up and the fact that he deliberately clouds matters by continually saying “garçons” rather than “hommes” seems to me like a politician’s way of getting away with it while at the same time saying that he isn’t lying.

  6. When those children are adult they are still slaves to prostitution. Only the master becomes the needle the pimps provide them with.

The money Mr Mitterrand paid for sex will of still supported this vile industry.

We see there are the gyms all over the world, what it’s telling to us. Almost everyone, when looking for sex relation they look for the partner who has cute and muscle body, will they? Also the cost of living adds to life of everyone too, we see alot ads said “sale” on daily basis for everythig. Then, when will and with what kind of power can we stop prostitution? The true society from way way back till now. How about diamond gifts from milionaires or billionaires? No body said a single word!!!…The difference here is telling or not telling his story, not by having sex with who nor prostitution.
