    Good for Microsoft.

Although we must remember that despite this generous gesture Microsoft is a multi-billion dollar industry which has faced controversy in the past for making financial contribution to homophobic candidates and constituencies.

That’s the nature of the massive multinationals – build some good PR by supporting 1 side of 1 issue but make a similar contribution to the opposite side elsewhere.

They are covering their bases. The homophobes are as important as the gay people to Microsoft’s profits after all.

Nevertheless in this instance I think they are doing good.

Microsoft made equally generous campaign contributions to the Democrat and Republican campaign in the last US presidential election.

    Have they really donated?
There hasn’t been a website set up to boycott Microsoft in America yet

Good for them. To be fair its not like any homophobic’s will be clever enough to go buy a Mac anyway.
