  3. Sadly I very much doubt the Jamaican authorities will consider a homophobic crime as being an aggravating factor, indeed they’ll just continue to deny it is a hate-crime at all.

  5. Jamaica’s official stance on homophobia is bad enough, but that attitude bleeds across to UK as well. Ever wondered why there isn’t a gay float at the Notting Hill Carnival?

    If the sentence for being homosexual is 10 years hard labour, I’ll be interested to see what sentence they give for killing a homosexual

    Sister Mary Clarence, I have never been there and I don’t know any Jamaicans, but from what I’ve read he’ll probably get a medal.
