Bah, lighten up la roux. She’s no lady Ga Ga when it comes to the gays.
There’s no Business like Show Buiness and Girl…are you in Show Business!
Damn it girl, you have fans that buy your records. Quit bitching.
Wow – I hope that quote isn’t representative of the tone of the rest of the article because she sounds a grumpy cow. Why is she complaining so much? I’ve re-read the quotes three times and I still think they sound nasty.
She called Take That “gay lords” in an interview with the Observer last week. Seems like she’s out to get as much publicity as possible by being unpleasant about everyone. Not the best strategy.
That might explain it then, Sibr. Stupid woman – that’ll backfire big-time when she’s alienated every single fan…
I find her bizarre gender-bending name quite irritating. Apparently she was so stupid she didn’t realise that roux means a red-headed man. Her former French teacher would be disgusted to learn that she thought she was changing it to a woman by changing the ‘Le’ into a ‘La’. Sorry, love, but ‘La Roux’ is just nonsense and doesn’t means anything; it is either Le Roux or La Rousse.
Slapdash, ill-thought-out and dumb-looking. How did her record label let her do something so silly???
Wow that snotty big-headed bitch. I do love her song though…. all 13 iterations of it.
Aren’t you guys being a bit harsh? She doesn’t like being flashed and having undergarments thrown at her. Neither do I.
But she didn’t say that, Pumpkin Pie (and that, as phrased by you would have been a perfectly reasonable thing to say). Her tone came across as unnecessarily mean and rather ‘anti-lesbian’.
I actually read the whole interview and she doesn’t exactly come out of it very well. Maybe she was tired or in a mood, but she sounds grumpy, insecure, defensive and bad-tempered.
Well, fair enough, then. It just didn’t sound too bad when I read this one excerpt.
