  1. I would say posing naked with a hard on is pornographic
sigh…why do they always have looks but no brains?

  2. So ‘pupils reportedly discovered pictures’ what were they looking for?

  3. cmartens54 25 Sep 2009, 4:21pm

    So what is the link???

  4. Ive never understood why people do porn – and expect it to stay secret. I saw another teacher on a porn site. What are these people thinking?

  5. nudity isn’t always porn

  6. it’s not relevant to his job

  7. He’s a fool. This is asking for trouble when you teach today’s IT-savvy kids, but in principle it has nothing to do with his job. The real issue is whether discipline and respect disappear in his classroom.

  8. Is it porn? give me the link and I’ll give you my opinion…

  9. Whats next – you can’t say “gay”???????

  10. Why should he be suspended just because he modelled in a porn shoot? If he’d done it during class then there might be some reason for this fuss… I’m guessing the shoot predates his teaching career – but even if it doesn’t, his free time is his own.

  11. Underage students looking at gay porn sites??? They should be in more trouble than the teacher.

  12. whatever… bunch of prudes…

  13. This would be an interesting test case for article 8 of the human rights act 1998.

    (1) Everyone has the right for his private and family life, his home and his correspondence.

Would not the school be in breach of article 8 as this was done outside school and you could say the school are interfering with the teachers private home life. It is not illegal to pose nude for a photo.

  14. Pumpkin Pie 26 Sep 2009, 2:29am

I’ve heard of this sort of thing happening before. It’s just indicative of this country’s childish attitude towards sex. He posed nude! That clearly means he’s a deviant sexual predator! Honestly, what a joke.

  15. Call me an over-forgiving type of person if you will but surely this information about a PE teacher is just a little silly. I’m inclined to think that whether or not a man poses naked, with or without an erection, is slightly irrelevant as to his safety around minors. There is no suggestion in this article of any paedophiliac tendencies being exhibited by the teacher in question. I tend to agree with Riondo at Post 7 and John at Post 11.

I do, however, see that the School at which he teaches has to investigate the matter just to make sure that no illegality or paedophilia is implied by the teacher’s appearance in some pornographic film or other. Once that has, hopefully, been ascertained then I do hope that the teacher is reinstated.

It is important that we safeguard our children. It is also important that we safeguard our teachers against juvenile, gleeful prurience and spite. This man should not have been, in my opinion, named at this point in this investigation. Identification should have been left until the investigation could prove that he broke the Law – if that cannot be proved then he should never be identified.

We’re in witch-hunting territory here, I think. Anyway, think back to your own childhoods – children are not the innocents we adults want to fondly imagine them as being. Did this man interfere, or propose to interfere, with minors? It seems not. Many children engage in some sort of non-coercive sexual activity (physical on occassions but equally often emotional) with other children and that’s just part of growing up. Our laws are designed to let children grow up naturally without physical sexual-contact interference from adults. Is there any evidence which indicates that this teacher breached those laws?

We’ll learn the answer to that as the investigation proceeds. However, I do think that Riondo has the right of it regarding this man’s teaching career – whether discipline and respect disappear in his classroom.

  16. Interestin gone this. The students can look at gay porn sites but the teacher is not permitted to be on the gay porn site. Ummmm …… ?

  17. If I looked like him I’d be tempted to do it too. If any of the kids he teaches were anything like me at school, they probably have a crush on him!

Pix below – but sorry, couldn’t find the uncensored version:-(

  18. I’m wondering what that American guy with ‘porn makes you gay’ would say about this.

Am I right in thinking that porn involving consenting adults isn’t illegal in the UK? If so, he has committed no crime. With the attitudes that prevail, though, and the paranoia about making sure everyone involved with children is a paragon of virtue, he does seem terribly naive to have imagined his private and work life would not clash. Whether its fair or not this was bound to happen.

And the Sun, the nastiest scandal rag in the universe is lapping it up!

  19. John Rendle 26 Sep 2009, 10:37am

He looks good, and like Chester (6) said, what has it got to do with his job? He is probably damn good at it, and its hard enough to attract men to teaching as it is.

  20. Sister Mary Clarence 26 Sep 2009, 1:32pm

Well done Nick – don’t know why a link couldn’t have been part of the main article on here.

Having seen it though, I don’t think its entirely appropriate for a school teacher to be having his gaggly bit out all of the show on the internet.

I can see why there would be complaints

  21. I think the teacher’s claim that the pics are “not pornographic” is stretching the truth just a little… given that there’s a video and a cumshot finish… Links:

Looks like a perfectly normal alpha male to me. Actually, a pretty good role model. He’s not doing anything we haven’t done, innit.

  23. BrazilGayScene 27 Sep 2009, 3:32am

I think it will all boil down to the terms of his employment contract at this ‘private’ school? If the school has a clause such as not ‘bringing the school into disrepute’ etc, then he will not have a leg to stand on. And, just wondering how article 8 of the human rights act 1998 would apply? It doesn’t cover everything, much as we would like it to…

“(1) Everyone has the right for his private and family life, his home and his correspondence”…. Correct, but I do wonder what can be considered ‘private’ about appearing on an openly available gay website? I think that would be stretching the law a little far?

  24. Thanks for the links, everone.

  25. Jean-Paul Bentham 27 Sep 2009, 6:37am

Now c’mon, healthy young men having gay sex. This is exactly what Kinsey was talking about. This is what homosexual activity looks like, and I dare say these flicks have kept the home fires burning for countless gay couples, as well as gay men who, for one reason or another, find themselves alone but with normal sexual appetites.

On the downside, it is an industry, and these guys may not be aware of how much they are being exploited. C’est la vie. Are they being emotionally scarred? Who knows?

Again, the way in which the guy’s personal activities outside the classroom were discovered by under-aged kids who are viewing these sites illegally, but much to their pleasure, is lacking the attention it deserves.

Discipline and respect have long since disappeared from the classroom if you ask me, and it has nothing to do with the teacher’s personal life.

It’s a contemporary issue that needs to be kicked around before pouncing on it with the vestiges of victorian sexual morality or theology, or what have you.

I don’t pretend to have all the answers, and I’ll spare you the arguement that the blame falls on the parents. This is an issue that needs a whole lot of pocking around because, in a controlled environment, the only possible victim could be the model who needs extra money to pay for a drug habit or child support…too many unknown factors to arrive at a judgement, as if we need to judge normal and highly pleasurable human sexual behavior, like homophobes are inclined to do.

Then there’s the arguement that this young man, who has been entertaning, if that is the proper word, the gay community, needs our support at a time like this.

It’s like listening to a Mahler symphony: it’s fascinating, sometimes hypnotic and sometimes confusing. Life is like that.

Finally, as a gay man myself, I would be more concerned with the well-being of the model than the impact of this material on juvenile delinquents.

  26. Given his occupation, I don’t actually have much sympathy for him and his claims that the pictures / video aren’t pornographic are quite laughable.

  27. Jean-Paul, I like the Mahler analogy. But this is more a Song of a Wayfaring Lad than any of the symphonies.

  28. He’s very cute. I bet lots of those schoolboys are having wet dreams in class anyway.

  29. Well, can see both sides of the argument here… on the one hand it’s very difficult to maintain authority in the classroom when your porno shoot is all over the net and the kids have stumbled on it (has someone got a crush on the PE teacher?
Wouldn’t be the first time that’s happened). He’s a bit naive if he thinks this wouldn’t go round the schoolyard like a plague of nits.
I remember at my secondary school one art teacher got a bit too happy about the success of his A-level set and celebrated by getting drunk and stripping off in a public toilet (unsure if that’s all he did there, we didn’t get all the juicy specifics).
He mysteriously never came back after the summer break and his name was eradicated from the school records like some bizarre Stalinist purge, but the kids got to hear about it anyhow through the salacious gossip grapevine.
That said, whether you can legitimately sack this guy for a legal activity done in his own time is a bit of a moot point. Perhaps like you say it’s a matter for contract terms and conditions and employment tribunals.
At least he should know if he wants to return to his porn career this is a pretty big calling card! The Gym instructor porno cliche practically writes itself…

  30. Sister Mary Clarence 27 Sep 2009, 2:58pm

    To quote englishlads.com:

“He is one of these lads whose cock is big when soft and when hard he is at least 8 inches and with a chunky girth”

“Mike is quite a shower and once he plays with his cock it grows to an impressive piece of meat.”

“This lad is not shy and shows off his hairy hole in real close details.”

“After a load of wanking he lies back and shoots a nice big load on his furry abs.”

    Pornographic:

“Sexually explicit pictures, writing, or other material whose primary purpose is to cause sexual arousal”

    Its porn!

I’m sure the guy only did it because he needed a few quid at the time, but there are sites where you can get paid for hawking your wares without showing your face. Better judgement would surely have been to go to one of these. I would say he would have very little defence against gross misconduct.

  31. BrazilGayScene 27 Sep 2009, 4:10pm

Indeed. As someone else said, the ‘upside’ to this would be a massive boost to his porn ‘career’….. and please, lets not hear all the old cliches of models being ‘exploited’… Every time I arrive at work, my employer is ‘exploiting’ me in that case. Providing the participants are adults, over 18, no one is being exploited.. They are choosing to do it freely as adults, for wages, signing contracts and model-release forms. If they disagree with the amount of wages, or they are not happy that pictures of their ‘aroused’ mating-tackle will be seen worldwide, simple… Don’t do it!

  32. Brian Burton 27 Sep 2009, 4:28pm

Well I for one would like to be Teacher’s Pet. But I do give up Sex for Lent.

  33. Bishop Ioan 27 Sep 2009, 9:49pm

I think this is a case where the kids (and their parents) should be in the hotseat, so to speak, not the teacher. If the parents do not want their kids watching porn, then have a “nanny” filter put on the computer. If the teacher is not showing paedophilic tendencies, then leave him alone. It might not have been the best judgement call but it shouldn’t mean the loss of his job.

  34. Jean-Paul Bentham 28 Sep 2009, 1:52am

    BrazilGayScene:

Thanks for the input. I have edited my post 27, and have come up with this:

Now c’mon, healthy young men having gay sex.

This is exactly what Kinsey was talking about. This is what homosexual activity looks like, in or out of a loving relationship, and I dare say these flicks have kept the home fires burning for countless gay couples, as well as gay men who, for one reason or another, find themselves alone but with normal sexual appetites, and who have mastered the art of sexual self-gratification with or without visual and/or audio stimulation.

Also, the way in which Sam Handley’s personal activities outside the classroom were discovered by under-aged kids who were viewing this site illegally – but much to their pleasure – is lacking the attention it deserves.

However, and to be fair, I must admit that I did enter this site and thoroughly enjoyed getting off without having to admit that I am an adult.

As for discipline and respect, they have long since disappeared from the classroom if you ask me, and it had, and continues to have, nothing to do with the teacher’s personal life.

Sexually explicit material of any kind on the Internet is a contemporary issue that needs to be kicked around before pouncing on it with the vestiges of victorian sexual morality or theology, or what have you.

I don’t pretend to have all the answers, and I’ll spare you the argument that the blame falls on the parents. This is an issue that needs a whole lot of professiional, scientific poking around because, even in a controlled environment, the unknown factors must be systematically explored to arrive at a workable theory, and we can do without the susperstitions which need to judge normal and highly pleasurable human sexual behavior, like homophobes have been and continue to be inclined to do.

Not that this is surprising in a country clever enough to issue the Wolfenden Reort in the late 60’s, but which has yet to come to terms with the Equakity Bill.

Then there’s the argument that this young man, who has been entertaining, if that is the proper word, the gay community, needs our support at a time like this.

While the schoolkids need to be severely reprimanded (being expelled comes to mind), Handley deserves the best therapy the British government, who allowed him to be publicly discredited,
    can afford.

Of course the UK is notorious for its disregard of psychological and/or psychiatric counselling with the utmost of contempt because so many still believe, after Hiroshima, that we are the masters of our own destinies.

The lack of professional counselling has been regularly obvious on the threads of PinkNews for some time, and unfortunately troubled individuals will continue to spill their guts out until some kind member of their family will be forced to call a team of men wearing white jackets, and add yet another skelton in the proverbial closet of one’s family history.

Since every rant must come to an end, I am reminded of the meticulous and absolutely ridiculous obstacles intentionally designed to prevent Canadian gay bookshops, (‘Little Sisters’ in Vancouver), from importing sexually educational and entertaining material for the Canadian Pink Market ($$$$) from the USA.

It’s like listening to a Mahler symphony: it’s fascinating, sometimes hypnotic and sometimes confusing. Life is like that.
We’re here; we’re queer; get used to it!

Finally, as a 100% gay man myself, I would be more concerned with the well-being of the model than the impact of this material on juvenile delinquents.

    More explicitly, no to censorship.

  35. Sister Mary Clarence 28 Sep 2009, 10:05am

We’ve also skirted round the issue of positive role models here.

Its a grammar scholl so I assume some of the kids would have been as young as 11 years old, moving into teenage years learning about their sexuality and seeking positive role models top learn from.

How many of them (gay and straight) looked up to the fit, good looking PE teacher.

What sort of associations to many kids at the school now have gay men, when potwentially this is the first ‘identified’ gay man some of them may have encountered?

What sort of associations do the gay kids learn from him in relation to growing up gay?

What sort of a role model does he become for any of the kids looking for a male role model to admire and respect?

  36. excellent points Jean-Paul Bentham — September 28, 2009 @ 1:52
I don’t see why he should be sacked if he can do the job
I do think he’s being fired due to homophobia
    he says he’s straght

  37. Jean-Paul Bentham 28 Sep 2009, 12:52pm

    Sister Mary Clarence (37):

“What sort of a role model does he become for any of the kids looking for a male role model to admire and respect?”

    Peter Pan?

  38. Sister Mary Clarence – 37. Good question… well he might inspire them to exercise more and get 6 pack abs, though whether that’s a good thing in itself is a moot point.
In any event he doesn’t define himself as a gay man, he’s not even “gay for pay” as far as I can see. His photoshoot was a solo effort. Whether anyone else thinks he’s gay has no bearing on the facts.
Speaking personally I would define him as a TILF ;)

  39. Sister Mary Clarence 28 Sep 2009, 8:39pm

flapjack – clearly you’re not that familiar with englishlads.com and its ‘art’

Shamelessly lifting more from its pages:

    “Hayden & Liam playing!
Two str8 boys with fit bodies strip off their shirts then pull down each others shorts and two big bulges pop into view! The boys rub their bulges together and they don’t look to just have semis and when they pull down each others boxers there near fully hard cocks spring out! They wank off each other and Hayden dives down and sucks off Jake …..”

I don’t think anyone spending more than two minutes on the site would have any doubt about what its all about. Whether he be a gay man yanking his tackle out for a soft porn gay website, or a straight man whipping his tackle out on there, either way, not a positive role model for young impressionable minds (in my view)

  40. He looks great on English Lads; there are some really hot young guys on there! Not wishing to be a dirty old man, I admire their….artistry! ;-0. I hardly think he will corrupt the pupils and I wish my pe teacher (who was a bit of a hunk 35 years ago would have got his kit off!!!)

  41. Jean-Paul Bentham 29 Sep 2009, 12:25am

When all is said and done, there’s more said than done.

Enough of this jury business, but I must say: it’s been fun!

  42. I read this story yesterday as well as all the comments and spent some time thinking about how I felt about it. I’m bothered that some of you think that it is ok for a teacher to be found in this position. I have an 11 year old daughter and would be horrified if her teacher were to be found naked on the internet. My daughter needsto have positive role models and that he is not. This has nothing to do with the picture being on a gay website (although I suspect some will have a field day just because of that), there is now a whole school thinking that this is what being gay is all about. It’s about having a huge responsibility to those children – he’s blown it. The whole story makes me uncomfortable.

  43. Pumpkin Pie 29 Sep 2009, 3:15pm

Posing in a porn shoot is much less damaging to your health than smoking is. If I had to choose between sending kids to either a teacher who smokes, or one that’s done a porn shoot, I’d send them to the best role model of the two – the porno guy. Not to mention the fact that people who have done porn will be much more secretive about it than people who smoke.

  44. Jean-Paul Bentham 29 Sep 2009, 10:31pm

Well, you know me, and how inclined I am to review things and videos…

You have no idea how much I hate it when I ejaculate all over my keyboard…(did I say that?).

But I neither smoke nor drink.

  45. Jean-Paul Bentham 30 Sep 2009, 1:34am

    Sister Mary Clarence;

Pass me a couple of tissues, will you, I can’t reach the window curtain.

  46. Jean-Paul Bentham 3 Oct 2009, 5:59am

    Ain’t sex outrageous!

The last thing “we” want our decent growing adolescents to know about. All the boys need to know is test tube sex, not how to actually fondle themselves normally.
