  2. Intriguing, but hard to see why it’s on PN. And, sorry to quibble, but it was a tram, not a bus.

Forgeries, how exiting for every one concerned. Has anyone heard of ‘Imitation Of Life?’ I know that some pictures are nice to look at. At least some of them are but are quite impossible to live with; They are too clever, too assertive and too intellectual. Their meaning is also obvious and their method too clerly defined. People will exhaust themselves talking about works of art. The moment an artist takes notice of what other people want,he ceases to be an artist.

  4. Hahah, typical pseudo intellectual non sense. Every artist notices what other people want. Its hard not to notice (if you’re truly dedicated) what other artists are prevalent in your cities, who hangs paintings in all the established galleries, who has commissions for the public sector. Now, if you define your career on this you could well become a weaker artist than if you followed instinctively what you wanted to do with your work. You’re still an artist though, you’re just struggling to find your voice. What did any of that actually have to do with frida kahlo, who obviously did the exact oppossite?
