  1. I’m confused by this posting. Was the victim working by the riverbank or was he walking by the riverbank ? Either way it was a senseless and vicious attack.

Do you suppose Jamaican lyrics have reached Somerset? Or is that a racist remark?

I’m curious about the victim’s condition.

  3. Even though legislation is being put into place to protect us – cowardly attacks against gays will still continue until everyone is fully educated into understand what the LGBT is all about.
It is usually the uneducated and unintelligent element of humanity that is homophobic. The fight continues for our rights it is not over yet, we still have some way to go. This attack is deplorable – an update on his condition would be appreciated.

  4. When you read this kind thing you wonder if we’ve made any progress at all. What sort of diseased mind thinks its perfectly normal behaviour to head out and brutally murder someone simply because of their sexuality, which dis no ones business but their own? An animal wouldn’t behave like this.

I notice it took three of them… how brave they must all feel.

Homophobic gangs–actually gangs in general–are cowards. Only cowards attack en masse.

This story is in part thanks to what the Bristol
    Evening Post wrote
in it’s newspaper a few weeks ago. Hopefully
the new Equality Bill will put an end to homophobic newspaper stories
    like this one.
