A two day residential stay for £1000. So, for future leaders who are already rich then (even if your employer’s paying for it, you’re going to have to be in a pretty well-paid job already for them to shell out another £1000 on you). Nice.

  3. This cost is disgustingly over-ambitious, although I have no doubt that some will be able to pay. Talk about exclusive – from a community that should be more sensitive than most to the inclusive agenda – I’m sickened. Count me out!

  4. If you’re in Scotland, you might like to know that the Equality Network runs courses for future LGBT community leaders in Scotland, 5 days in total, which are free. The latest one is now full (starts next week), but there will be future ones. We also run events for Scottish LGBT community groups – the next is on 17th October in Glasgow and covers what is involved in being fully inclusive for minority ethnic and disabled LGBT people. Details will shortly be on our website (my name below is the link!).

  5. I was confused by the headline. I thought they needed leaders who were LGBT to apply to give advise. Oh well keep looking for the job that pays well enough to pay over £1000 for a 2 day course. Not sure I need it tho. Maybe others think I might.

That tit Ben Summerskill is an embarrassment when he bleats ‘Oh Stonewall doesn’t campaign for equality seeing as not everyone wants it.’
