    Melanie Phillips is a nasty piece of work. !`ve heard her commonets on the radio many times- comes across as a sneering homophobe to me.

    yep, you defend her all John, all the way up to when she convinces enough people to remove our very newly granted equality under the law (that is her agenda now that she failed to convince the laws not be granted in the first place).

    I guess you also support racists to be paid by mass media to argue that inter-racial marriage undermines marriage…oh hang on, no-one in the mass media gets paid to spout those views do they…nope its just the gays that its ok to slag off in publications read by millions of people week in, week out. Yeah, go ahead and support her, its not like in so doing you weaken your rights to live safely in this country as a gay man.
