Damn. Almost makes me want to move to Uruguay! What a country! Nice to see some real progress being made in South America. I’m originally from Peru, which I’m pretty sure is quite a way behind Uruguay on equal rights.
Really, today I feel so proud of my country and our government that I am kind of speechless by such an event. I hope America Latina keeps growing and improving in this field. Big hug to all of you!!!

UK does have full joint adoption for same-sex couples since 2004!!!!
Uruguay and the UK are NEARLY on the same level. They both still ban marriage for same-gender couples.
Uruguay do not have “IVF parentage” – which the UK does since 2009!!!!!!
So the UK is still SLIGHTLY ahead of Uruguay!!!!
