About 3 months ago I saw posters for 2 of these acts posted around Liverpool… I can’t remember which two, but they were named in previous articles about homophobic lyrics. It might have been Elephant Man and Beenie man.
Unsure who has signed the reggae compassionate act up to this point, but I wouldn’t watch them regardless, based on their track record.
And it’s a bit of a double standard that we haven’t been able to mount a similar campaign against Eminem.
Sometimes it seems like doing a gig with Elton John is an easy get-out clause from dropping homophobia from your act.

  2. This sick music comes from a nation which has one of the worlds most dreadful homophobic crime record; Jamica. Its about time the rest of the world told them we don’t tollerate blatent hatred about people’s sexuality anymore than we should hate people of a different colour! I would ban international flights and impose sanctions until they do so!

Every country that considers itself civilised should be a no-go area for anyone, not just artists, who incites violence against others. Human rights and protection by the law concerns everyone.
