  1. This is a good PR move by the Tories to sack Duncan seeing as he was caught stealing £4,000 from taxpayers for his gardening costs and then starting whining about MP’s ‘living on rations’ (£60,000 per year salary).

Make no mistake though. His demotion is purely temporary and purely PR related. Cameron and the Tories are obsessed with PR. They have yet to reveal any real policies.

The only policy that is very clear is that they have no problem linking up with Polish facists in the Europarliament (a sick twisted group of extremists called the Law and Justice Party – whose leader has stated that tolerance of homosexuality will lead to the destruction of civilisation)

    Discussion:

Is linking with a legitimate Polish political party more or less evil than squalid deals with Libyan terrorists or IRA murders?

Sorry to see Alan Duncan go – you might not like his politics but he was the first gay Tory MP to come out and I admire him for that.

  3. “Is linking with a legitimate Polish political party more or less evil than squalid deals with Libyan terrorists or IRA murders?”

Worse I reckon. The Polish Party is as ‘legitimate’ as the BNP in that both parties have an electoral mandate from their supporters. Just like Hitler’s party won a mandate from his electoral supporters in Germany in 1933.

Your attempts to downplay the hideous link between the Tories and the Polish facists by raising unrelated issues about Labour’s dodgy Libyan deals is sort of ineffective. We all know that Dave ‘PR’ Cameron would have done the exact same as Brown. It is easy and convenient for him to pretend to be shocked now about the deal. It costs him nothing. However Poland is gaining more power in Europe and their leader is a homophobic extremist. But as Cameron is clearly a man of zero integrity he pretends to support equality while climbing into bed with a party who regard us as abominations.

It is worth repeating for any LGBT person thinking about voting Tory:

The Tory party has teamed up with the Polish Law and Justice Party in the European Parliament. This is the party whose leader regards homosexuality as ‘satanic’ and thinks that tolerance of homosexuality will lead to ‘the destruction of civilisation’.

  4. Vulpus, relativising the tories’ alliances does not make them any less stupid.

  5. It’s not that it’s more or less evil Vulpus-Rex, it’s that it’s a stupid stance seen as though what’s actually destroying the world is too many frigging human beings, the product of straight intercourse, which everyone forgets. Blaming gays is the doom and gloomer’s charter. It’s not reality. Terrorists are just imbeciles.

My, my, a little bit of unpleasant home truth really hasn’t gone down well has it.

If you wish to resort to facile comparisons then one can also say that the Polish party are also as legitimate as New Liebour who have just contrived to free a convicted terrorist for some oil – they are the ones with blood on their hands not the Poles, the Tories or for that matter the BNP.

Stick that in your smear campaign and smoke it.

  7. New Liebour??? Good grief vulpus-rex! I might disagree with your politics but I’ve always assumed you were above the peurile, adolescent name-calling of American politics. Please have some respect for yourself, man, and your country, too.

It’s utterly absurd the way the Tories respond to critisism by refusing to address the criticism but instead by relativising it compared to a totally non-related subject.

Question: What would ‘Dave PR’ Cameron have done differently to Gordon Brown when it comes to Libya?

Answer: you have no idea – you are merely speculating. In all probability a man and a party with as little integrity as Cameron and the Tories would have done the exact same thing.

And to reiterate my earlier point seeing as the tories on here absolutely don’t want to address it:

The Tory party has teamed up with the Polish Law and Justice Party in the European Parliament. This is the party whose leader regards homosexuality as ‘satanic’ and thinks that tolerance of homosexuality will lead to ‘the destruction of civilisation’.

Its just an excuse to “get rid of the gay” from the tory front-bench. They only have one more to go-then they can revert to the usual “white heterosexual male” party that they have ALWAYS been!

I don’t think anyone is defending the like with the Polish Party but…

No: let me try to defend it (in a form): there has been a ruling Center Left coalition in Europe for quite some time now. The (mainly) Centre Right parties are forming a new (mainly) Centre Right one to compensate for this one. If the didn’t take theidiotpolishnutters on then the coalition would collapse overnight as it has to have representatives from most/ all major European parties in it to minimize the chance of a (mainly) Centre Right Party joining with the Left Power Block.

Theidiotpolishnutters who, I’m sure everyone here and everyone sitting at home would agree, are idiotnutters will not influence the policy of the whole and will sit on their hands over the issue of disgustinguncatholicqueers because being part of the coalition is their only real, sustainable ticket to power.

I hope I have explained the murky world of Politics to you.

Good Evening, I’m off to have a glass of wine and make veggie Spaghetti Bolognese. Have fun calling me a rightwingbigot while I’m away.

    Er John…

Labour is run by a inner circle of guys who go out swilling pints and guzzling curries. Hardly Metro-Sexual is it?

I hope all of the expence hungry MP crooks loose their seats next time round.

  14. theotherone 12 Sep 2009, 11:17pm

there would be no MPs left then.

Not that that would be a bad thing…
