Kea, may God bless you for defending your brother against a couple of drunk idiots. I wish that everyone who is the victim of homophobic assaults, be they verbal or physical, had someone with your courage to defend them. Actually, strike homophobic. Any assault victim would welcome someone as brave and of strong moral character as you.

I hope that the police catch these idiots and that your wounds, both physical and emotional, heal soon.

What you did is praise-worthy and memorable.

    Thank you.

Jeez, I just moved to Exeter and I’m actually living on Sidwell st! Can’t help, though, because I wasn’t outside at that time. Gosh, this is not reassuring though!

  3. Erm, what was her brother doing during all this?

  4. Chief Constable Stephen Otter’s Devon & Cornwall police patch, in my experience of this police force, police will be looking for the assailants

    …just to congratulate them!
