An online channel for the LGBT community due to launch next year has revealed some of its schedule highlights.

Fruit TV is an internet television and radio programming platform based in Manchester.

Programmes planned for the site include Queer As Folk: Ten Years On, which includes an exclusive interview with creator and writer Russell T Davies.

Aids in America, a documentary in which long term survivors of HIV in the States talk about the early impact of the virus in places like Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco, is another highlight.

There is also My Life With Milk, a radio documentary charting the life of legendary gay politician Harvey Milk through those who were closest to him.

Other programme highlights include Oscar’s Books (in which Thomas Wright examines the books from Wilde’s collection which were sold for a pittance and ended up all around the world following his downfall) and Rude Brittania (in which playwright and writer Tim Fountain explores the weird and wonderful sex lives of the average Brit).

You can sign up for Fruit TV and see a new trailer previewing these programmes at www.fruittv.tv.
