  1. I really hope and pray that you guys have a great parade and that everyone enjoys themselves. See if you can beat the London Pride turnout figures.

    Rich,
I wondered who would comment first on this thread…You Rich, one of the Good Guys! The last time I was in Manchester, was before the ‘Consenting Adults’ bill was passed and thought what a dreary City! Although we still had smoking chimminy stacks then around the Manchester area. It’s sure to be all Rainbows over the Bank Hols on the streets of Manchester!

  3. Hope the weather is kind for you all. I arrive in Manchester on MondaY 31st!

  4. I think it’s a wonderful reflection on the gay community and their relationship with the Powers that Be within the city, to effect such a closure throughout the Pride period.
It shows that there is no reason why intelligent, articulate and educated people should not join together for the common good, irrespective of their orientation or political views.
Have an absolute WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW of a Pride!

  5. I am on a float this year at Manchester’s gay pride parade, which we are currently building in my girlfriend’s garage. We are a small community group called Glossop LGBT and are having a lot of fun doing this. If you’re attending Manchester Pride this weekend, please look out for the Glossop float! It features a pub called “The Closet” with our very own super hero, Super Gay, trying to encourage us all out of it! Should be funny and entertaining. See you all there!
