Reimburse the Army for his education? This is even more ridiculous than Don’t ask, don’t tell! They are really piling it up. Is this one of those ‘Only in America’ things?

  2. good luck to him though i expect major trouble come the elction.

  3. Har Davids, when people sign up to do military service under the GI Bill in the U.S., they are entitled to free education so long as they serve a specific period of time in the military. It could be anything from being a medic to being a translator to anything else they’re specialized to do. If Anthony served the proper amount of time (which I’m willing to believe), he is entitled to still have had his education paid for, even after the discharge.

  4. To describe HRC and the Victory Fund as organizations that support LGBT candidates is misleading. They only support LEFTWING LGBT candidates. Anyone else gets a cold shoulder.

I don’t know enough about the intricacies of the US political scene, but I would say that aupporting rightwing LGBT candidates would be like supporting a Jew to stand for the NAtional Socialist party: it could be done, but it wouldn’t advance the aims much.

The Republican party is systematically homo/trans/anythingelse/phobic. Sexuality difference isn’t someting they support.
