Mary Portas to tie the knot with her partner

Mary Portas, the presenter of BBC show Mary Queen of Shops, is reportedly planning to have a civil partnership with her girlfriend.

Portas and Grazia fashion editor Melanie Rickey met five years ago while Portas was still married to her husband. They live in Maida Vale with Portas’ two children.

A source told the Daily Mail’s Ephraim Hardcastle column that the couple are planning to tie the knot, adding they are “less flashy than most of the glistening show-offs who grace the pink lists, and certainly better looking”.
