a few months ago a police officer was exorciated on this site for having a relationshipwith a young man of 17 but with whom he had an informal trust relationship.
The silence concerning this teacher with a legally underage girl is deafening
Mihangel, the “deafening silence” is perhaps because both the girl and her parents are supportive of the relationship. That said, of course they ought to have waited until the girl was of age. I do wonder, though, how many thousands of underage people have sexual relationships without the matter being brought to court. How else to explain the UK having the greatest number of schoolgirl pregnancies in Europe; not many of those end up in court! Simply musing………….
Not enough evidence for the first claim, and the second claim is most certainly false. If anything, this woman is an ephebophile. So are most of the bloody population. It’s really very common. Just look at any lads’ mag – the adolescent body is a thing that is worshipped in most societies throughout the world, and throughout history. Having transgressed against an arbitrary age barrier does not necessarily make her wrong in the head.
That being said, people in positions of authority and influence should always be very careful about things like this. If somebody feels dependent on you, it can be easy to manipulate them, even if you never intended to. You should always wait this sort of thing out. Course, it’s easy for me just to say that, isn’t it?
Is the teacher any kind of “…….phile” or is she simply a woman who fell in love with this girl and unwisely let it go too far? Let’s not start labelling her in this way. As far as it appears, this is the only time the teacher has had an affair with a schoolgirl, surely she’s not a serial anything? She has pleaded guilty and is going to be sentenced. I’m surprised that Pink News readers are the ones rushing to pin labels on this woman, haven’t we learned from our own experiences?
