Alan Cumming dedicates show to HIV charity
Actor Alan Cumming is to dedicate one night of his solo show to HIV charity National AIDS Trust (NAT).
The star, who describes himself as pansexual, is bringing his show ‘Alan Cumming: I Bought a Blue Car Today’ to the Vaudeville Theatre in London’s West End between September 1st to 6th.
A small number of VIP tickets are available for the Thursday showing, which he is dedicating to NAT. The VIP tickets cost £75 and include a seat in the dress circle and the chance to meet Cumming at an exclusive champagne reception after the show.
Speckulation Entertainment, which produces the show, will also make a donation to NAT for every other full-price ticket sold for that evening.
Alan Cumming said: “HIV is an issue that is close to my heart, so I am delighted to be able to do something that supports the work NAT is doing in the UK. It’s going to be an extra special performance that night.”
Deborah Jack, the chief executive of NAT, commented: “Alan is a longstanding friend of NAT. We are delighted he has decided to dedicate a performance to raise awareness and vital funds for NAT. It is an opportunity for people to enjoy a great night of West End theatre whilst supporting a national HIV charity.”
