Is Burundi a member of the UN? The UN has rules about these issues and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights; its about time the UN found some teeth and started to sort these places out!
I don’t know if Burundi is in receipt of foreign aid from the UK Government BUT if it is then it should cease immediately and the reason for the cessation made very clear … that UK taxpayers do not and will not condone such repressive legislation and they most certainly will not condone their tax £s being given away to a country which actively promotes such repression.
