7:48 PM — The bisexual senior Liberal Democrat MP Simon Hughes has confirmed that he is consulting with his solicitor after his phone was hacked by the News of the World. The saga relating to The Guardian’s allegations that the News of the World, Britain’s biggest selling newspaper operated a complex programme of hacking into celebrities mobile phone voicemail and paid off some of the victims has continued for another day.
