  1. By a coincidence I was once a constituent of Trost’s. I can confirm that this article’s depiction of him as a stupid, useless, mouthy bigot is quite accurate. His opinions are out of step with the mainstream of all Canadian parties, including the Conservative party. Ablonczy has consistently refused to bootlick for PM Harper, who wastes no chance to block her. Yet another reason to dump Harper.

    This article is slightly confusing…Diane Ablonczy is a federal minister, as well as Tony Clement. The article almost leads you to think the row is about Calgary Pride!

    If a gay tax payer can’t have a festival, neither can anyone else. Should all festivals be self funded then.
