I hope people will take note and then tell them to f–k off if these papers ever come sliming around them
Well it’s quite easy to react to that. A newspaper which refuses to run the advert must get emails from the gay couple and all their friends and family to inform them that their newspaper will not be purchased again as a result of this policy. Quite simple really.
“I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member.”
Same thing applies. I wouldn’t want to advertise in a paper that didn’t want me.
US newspapers are dying because of plummeting readership and advertising and, on this showing, deserve to do so.
What about the publication’s human right to accept or refuse Adds?—It’s Ok! I’m just asking!
1 publications have NO human rights – they’re corporations. There is of course their first amendment rights
2 people have a right to boycott papers that act in opposition to their objectives

Depends on what you mean by equal. For example, should a church be made to treat a paedophile the same as any other applicant who wants to teach a children’s Sunday School class?
