  1. This is such a pointless idea. We need less social barriers, not more. Everyone knows where the gay places are in Liverpool anyway.

  2. I love the Lisbon!

  3. I love the masquerade!

I think although this is a pain in some respects i think the fact that Liverpool City Council are actually now considering the impact of developing a cafe style culture in Liverpools Gay Quarter is great. It actually shows that they have taken note of many of the people who put their opinions forward at their last Public Consultation where many people wanted a more extended closure than was originally proposed.

Seems a positive, if not slow move…

My Partner and I have only been in Liverpool once. We were on our way to catch the Isle Of Man ferry with our Motorcycles to see the TT races. Personaly, I was’nt taken with Liverpool. I did’nt like the Beatles even, never thought they could sing! I have known plenty of Liverpudlians in my time and liked the ones I met. In the Isle Of Man my Partner and I met a young Biker riding a Motoguzzi, a 1000cc engine. He was beautiful, from Liverpool but not Gay. But he did say things like ‘Drop yer keks!’

  6. cant see the point in this. everyone knows the gay scene. its the straight scene that surrunds it that is a bit terryfying. this will just hem us all in. waste of time

  7. and when i was last out the scene was full of straight lads with thier girls taking the mickey out of gay men out
