  1. “We’re in the 21st century” Not Miss California apparently.

She said God had asked her: “Carrie, how bad do you want this? Are you willing to compromise your beliefs for a one-year crown of Miss USA?”
Oh, ffs! You couldn’t make that up, could you?

And this article also suggests she lied about when the photos were taken. I don’t care if she keeps her title, but I do wish she’d educate herself a bit and stop using the Bible to justify her own fear and ignorance.

She said God had asked her: “Carrie, how bad do you want this? Are you willing to compromise your beliefs for a one-year crown of Miss USA?”

F**king lying little whore (in my opinion) – I wonder what God had to say when she was there in front of the camera naked with her tatts out, or parading around they Miss California stage with her knickers riding up the crack of her arse, like some painted harlot.

  3. Gee. I’d like to take off and do my own thing, with my top off, and still keep my job…..
So I expect to see the topless bathing suit competition in next year’s contest? And can they decide what they will and won’t do during the show?

  4. I think they let go and set up a snare. Being the stupid slut she is, is very possible that she won’t be able to stay true to her new pledge. If she does, all is quiet and everything is almost over. If she doesn’t, she will lose her crown, but then she won’t be able to claim that she is a victim of –purportedly- intolerance. In the long term she finished as model. Not as a whore, obviously. But there are a lot of them.

  5. She should have lost her crown because she broke her contract. It had nothing to do with what she said about gay marriage. The ever-deceitful christians have thrown another red herring. Donald Trump should also remember that we are living in the 21st century, and medieval religious superstition is not acceptable as an excuse for hatred and bigotry in today’s world.

  6. Still, it’s Miss World. I feel a sort of impotence coming on here: I really can’t get excited about whether she keeps her crown or not.

She may as well be Miss Vienna – it means nothing to me….

  7. “Despite appearing in topless photos”? What a major prude The Pink is starting to sound. And good for her. I don’t give a flying F*ck what she thinks about gay marriage, and I will defend her to my dying die for her right to freedom of thought so long as she is not advocating killing anyone. It is time a of the posters on here grew up because there is more rabid intolerance displayed on here than any other media I have ever come across.

  8. Yo Ken, you said, ” Donald Trump should also remember that we are living in the 21st century, and medieval religious superstition is not acceptable as an excuse for hatred and bigotry in today’s world”

Do you think Trump is a bigoted Christian?

  9. MissCaliforniaHasHerpies 12 May 2009, 11:09pm

so they decrown other winner for nudie shots but not this gay hateing bitch, f**k her,god and hairpice oppps i mean Trump

  10. Trump’s religion is ruining nature reserves for the love of golf. His projects over here are as welcome as japanese knotweed, Hank….

  11. Edward in Los Angeles 12 May 2009, 11:53pm

Trump is a narcissistic moron. I wonder how all his gay employees in the hospitality, hotel and real estate businesses he owns feel today.

  12. Sister Mary Clarence 13 May 2009, 12:03am

Codex, do you really think she is showing freedom of thought? She been brainwashed and there are currently more wires pulling her than Pinocchio.

  13. Sister Mary Clarence 13 May 2009, 12:04am

    oops – ‘She has been’

  14. Codex – yes some of the posts are a bit intemperate but recognise real hurt when you see it. It is there every day for some. A ‘harmless’ event is being watched and WHAM suddenly some woman given a chance to communicate comes out with a very hurtful comment to vast numbers in the LGBT community and is now, apparently, propounding it by saying that God talked to her when she was asked the question.

BTW – Oh for the old days of Miss World! As a young teenager it took me a while to realise that whilst my school mates were rushing off to watch the girls in their swimsuits, I was rushing off to watch them in their nice evening frocks!!

  15. Simon Murphy 13 May 2009, 12:21am

Codex – everyone agrees that people have absolute freedom of thought. People also have freedom of expression. But expressing bigotted views has consequences. Miss Califonia stated that equal rights under the law for gay people are inappropriate because her religion tells her so. Fine. But as a result she has to expect her views and her own behaviour to come under critical scrutiny. Her ‘god’ also thinks that getting her tits out makes her a whore and therefore worthy of stoning (the bible allows this).

The same rules by which her christian beliefs judge gay marriage need also to be applied to herself. And christianity disapproves of getting your tits out for wank mags.

I think all this has been blown up into a very large, pink boring baloon!

  17. Mihangel apYrs 13 May 2009, 7:38am

“Speaking today at a press conference, Trump said: “We’re in the 21st century,” adding that Prejean is a model. He said he had examined the topless photos and found them to be “fine”.”

Was that with a tissue in own hand?

Seriously (if you can say that about such an asinine competition), if you have rules stick to them; did she get an indulgence because of her outspoken supporters?

  18. Sister Clarence and others, yes, I agree, of course she is a dumb, brainwashed b*tch and knows not the effect her words have on others. But isn’t that good enough reason to have compassion for her because she knows no better? Wouldn’t a wiser approach to be to love our haters? Why do wars escalate? Because of an unrestrained sequence of reactions culminating into violence. It takes a few words of love and forgiveness to break down even the most rigid barriers of hate. The only thing that separates us from one another are our differences of opinion. In everyone’s mind, what they believe is right is, and what is wrong is wrong. There is no one on here who doesn’t have an opinion or two that can’t be described as deeply offensive or intolerant of others. It is called being self-righteous – an insistence that your belief is right no matter how conclusive the evidence may be to prove you are wrong. The only way we are going to all get on in this world is to respect that that is how it is, and throwing the toys out of the pram when anyone dares say anything that may even minutely be perceived as being homophobic is just not on.

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. If we chose to respond to our detractors with compassion instead then they would have no hate and bile to react to and would probably be lost for words. If they knew that they could not cause a reaction then those that slag off gays to get a reaction would give up. Sure, we would be left with dunces like Miss California who just says what she thinks before engaging her brain, but the whole world can see she is short of a brain cell or two so her words don’t carry the same weight as a Michael Savage. Let’s get a sense of perspective on this folks! Or are we going to be here in ten years time spewing the same old bile in reaction to these tired, same old stories which Pink Paper seems to relish in stirring you all up about, which will continue ad nauseum until we realise that hysterical ranting will not get us anywhere but just makes us as intolerant and hateful as our enemies?

  19. Mihangel apYrs 13 May 2009, 2:18pm

being reasonable and compassionate will not stop them trying to destroy us. The Jews didn’t fight back against the Nazis (nor did the gays for that matter, but we weren’t visible or organised!) and look where that landed them.

You can’t reason with people who place their faith in a creed, politics, or philosophy that proscribes you, personally as less than human, damned, or the enemy

  20. No, it won’t stop them, but at least that way we will come out on top and earn the respect of 90% of tolerant mainstream people who see we are not trying to force an Orwellian agenda on the masses through hysteria and over-reacting. As it is, we are drumming up more hate towards us through al of these laws that are being passed in our name but are really intended to police people’s thought. You really do need to wake up and read 1984 to see where all of this is heading…

  21. If Miss California genuinely believes that a voice in her head (‘god’ or not) spoke to her, then she is by definition psychotic & should seek professional help as soon as possible.

  22. Erroll Clements 14 May 2009, 9:44am

Nah, shes just fookin mental, lock her up and throw the key ! Another mental religious nut american, what planet do these people come from !
