A student forced to withdraw from his college for appearing in a gay porn video is appealing the decision.
John Gechter was suspended for a year from Grove City College, a Christian college in Pennsylvania, after a fellow student came across a video of him appearing in the adult film online.
Gechter has said he may sue the school over the decision, saying he appeared in the film under a pseudonym, Vincent DeSalvo, to pay for his college fees.
Speaking to 33 News, he said: “I never considered the school would kick me out for doing something legal.”
He added he had been appearing in porn films for several years.
College officials have said he was suspended because he knew his choice to appear in the film “exhibited behavior contrary to the values” of the college.
