Frankly, I have never heard of Kirby Dick, but if he can do what he intends to do, more power to his elbow I say. Your past is what you are. It’s the only way by which people should be judged.

  2. Good for him! Closet Queens delay the revolution and it is a revolution! Closet Queens deny who they are while everyone else “KNOWS” who they are!

There’s no such thing as a ‘closet queen’ anymore. Any gay man who is earning a living and living away from his birth family has absolutely no excuse to be in the closet, and is being weird if he expects other people to lie about his sexuality for him. If you’re gay then it’s acceptable to mention that. Always.

  4. Simon Murphy, you obviously live in a large English or American city! Plenty of closet queens where I live! And yes , they still exist!

If I remember correctly, 2 years ago Larry Flint, owner of Hustler Magazin, offered $1 million to any reliable source who could provide “documented evidence of illicit sexual or intimate relations with a Congressperson, Senator or other prominent officeholder.” I wonder if he ever had to cough up.

    Cannot wait to see this!

  7. Brenton – I think you may be very surprised by where Simon lives. Believe me, there are closet cases in Ireland too, but Simon, is right in every word he says – there is no excuses anymore – even here.

Of course, there is no excuse for anyone in this day and age to be ‘In the closet’ Now me, I’m English through and through and a commited Christian. The whole congregation know me and my Partner are Gay at out United Reformed Church in Southampton England. People who don’t like me (for any reason) can go and shinny up a thorn tree with an arm full of eels. Frankly my dears, ‘I don’t give a damn.’ Suffering is not a mystery, it is a revelation, in which you discern things that were not descernable before.

  9. I hope that this film gets good media coverage. The hypocrites should indeed be ‘outed’!

  10. There was always a question mark over George W. Allegedly. I even read his parents had him “degayed”. What an excuse for a man.

  11. Hypocrisy, its so over . . . get them out of the closet . . . give then a good shaking and slap then in the face with a good dose of reality.

  12. Kirby Dick?!!!

    Is that name for real?

It certainly sounds uncomfortable – and more than a little unflattering! Ha ha!!!
